Who We Are

Friends of the Moor is a voluntary community organisation which speaks for the Moor and Barncroft, Knutsford. It is managed by a committee elected annually at an AGM.

How we Collect Information

When you sign up to be part of Friends of the Moor we will collect the data we need to keep in touch with you; this will be limited only to what is absolutely necessary. The data we hold will be your name and address/email address as well as anything you have expressed an interest in helping the Friends with. We will only hold identifiable data for those aged 13 or over.

We may also gather information about your views/thoughts on the Moor/Barncroft. This data will always be anonymised.

 

How your information is used

We will use your details to send you information about Friends of the Moor such as newsletters, emails and communications inviting you to events/activities or asking your opinion. We may on occasion send you information about the wider community in Knutsford, such as from partner organisations such as Friends of the Heath or Knutsford Town Council.

 

Who has access to your data

We will not share your data with any third party. Only the officers of Friends of the Moor will have access to your data. Your data will be kept securely to prevent it being accessed by third parties.

 

Your Rights

You have the right to know what data we hold on you, to amend incorrect data, to request data is deleted and to challenge how we process your data.
