A bandstand, outdoor gym and skatepark are among ideas being suggested for the Moor.
The suggestions emerged from a survey carried out by Friends of the Moor last year.
“We are looking at providing seating within the shelter, but that is only one of the projects Friends of the Moor is looking to deliver following comments received during our survey last year,” said group chairman Debbie Jamison.
“Moor Ideas for the next 10 years suggested that people would like to see a skatepark, a bandstand, an outdoor gym and a BMX cycle circuit, plus new planting considered in future.
“Also some people came forward with the suggestion that grassed areas should be turned over to car parking.”
The survey results will be available on the group’s website before the annual meeting on Wednesday, March 14 at 7pm at Knutsford Town Council offices.
Debbie, who is stepping down after three years as chairman, said: “All Knutsford residents and businesses are welcome to attend and put themselves forward for committee positions. We have general and officer positions up for re-election.”
Debbie, who is also secretary of Knutsford Residents in Over Ward, will be leading the afternoon litter pick on Saturday at the Moor.
She said: “This is a great opportunity to join in the Heroes Assemble nationwide campaign to keep our green spaces clean and tidy.
“You can also come and talk with the people who volunteer behind the scenes to make these places enjoyable for the community all year round.”
