Funding Boost from Co-Op

Friends of the Moor has had a boost following being part of the Co-Op Local Community Fund. On Saturday 24th November three Friends attended the Parkgate Co-Op to receive to celebrate £2,556.41 being raised for the group, which will go towards installing seating in the shelter on the Moor.

Chairperson of Friends of the Moor, Adam Keppel-Green said “We were delighted to be selected as one of the Co-Op’s charities this year and overjoyed by the amount raised – thank you to all the members of the Co-Op who chose us as your charity.”.

Friends of the Moor is a small community group working together to make the Moor a better place for all. They are looking for new committee members to help drive forward small projects and help bring the annual Play Day back for 2019.
